As a Site Controller with The Modal Shop, you will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and to ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Additional Duties:

  • Follow established PCB Piezotronics accounting practices, ensure accurate reporting and conformance to financial policies, ensure SOX compliance for all accounting transactions, ensure monthly close along with reporting follows established procedures and timelines.

  • Supervise 2 or more team members in the daily execution of TMS accounting functions.

  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

  • Develop and coordinate the operational functions of the accounting department, oversee accounting activities and cash, investment, and asset management.

  • Establish and formulate internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices and coordinate and complete annual audits.

  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports & statements for review by the leadership team on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Develop and document business processes along with accounting procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

  • Utilize accounting IT system (Syteline) to facilitate processes and maintain records.

  • Manage intercompany reconciliation and reporting.

  • Oversite responsibility for TMS inventory including WIP, raw material and finished goods. Manage in conjunction with Production Team Leader. Work with Production Team Leader to optimize inventory utilization by establishing KPI to drive TMS to the best utilization of inventory to maximize on-time delivery and customer service. Continuously improve provided data which drives the make-up and use of inventory turns and utilization to support TCS, service and sales growth.

  • Complete Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Tax Returns for various States.

  • Work with the Leadership Team and develop the annual operating budget.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance

  • Experience: 7+ years' experience

  • Travel Requirement: Some travel required, <10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA preferred, but not required
