Summary As a Logistics Coordinator II at World Kinect Corporation, you will serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and customer service calls, demonstrating exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to work effectively with minimal supervision. You will excel in this role through strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. Logistics at World Kinect Corporation is a 24/7/365 operation. The Logistics Coordinator is expected to cover some holidays and weekends depending on the shift schedule. If your shift is on company holiday, you are expected to work that day. The ideal candidate should possess analytical skills, computer proficiency, and a working knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations. This role is Monday - Friday schedule. Key Responsibilities Daily Product Analysis: Analyze fuel delivery requirements and manage inventory systems to ensure timely customer deliveries. Dispatch Management: Create and oversee the daily dispatch of fuel deliveries, optimizing efficiency and maintaining schedules. 3rd Party Carier Management: Coordinate with third-party partners to assign order and verify carrier acceptance. Driver Coordination: Communicate effectively with drivers to coordinate load requirements and ensure on-time deliveries. Supply Coordination: Work with our WKC Supply team on the best possible lift points and suppliers to maximize the revenue on an order. Effective Decision-Making: Effective decision-making is paramount, guiding swift and accurate responses to dynamic situations. The ability to assess information quickly and prioritize actions to ensure efficient and timely resolutions. Customer Support: Handle incoming customer calls promptly and professionally, delivering exceptional service experiences. Accident Reporting and Safety: Ensure prompt reporting and documentation of accidents or spills, fostering a strong safety culture. Document Preparation: Assist in preparing documents for various departments and functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Ad Hoc Tasks: Fulfill other related duties, tasks, requests, and directives from management as required to support operational efficiency. Additional Responsibilities Profit and Loss Management: Take ownership of the profit and loss for each truck and delivery, ensuring financial accountability. Service Issue Resolution: Anticipate service issues and implement recovery plans to minimize disruptions. Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications Time Management: Effectively manage time, anticipate obstacles, adjust priorities, and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
