POSITION SUMMARY

As the Coordinator Maintenance Planning, you will support the Maintenance Planning team by maintaining the purchasing functions for stock, non-stock, consumable, and specialized parts for the Maintenance Team. You will be responsible for all CAPEX and other manufacturing-related purchasing, as well as handling storeroom minimum stock levels, inventory, invoicing, and accounts payable. You will also manage new and existing vendor relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Request quotes, place Purchase Orders (PO) for stock, non-stock and special parts for Maintenance, CAPEX, and Engineering, expediting as required

  • Generate weekly status updates for pending quotes and purchase orders

  • Aid in cost control by compiling maintenance management costs, adhering to competitive bidding practices, and identifying opportunities for parts standardization

  • Manage and follow up on vendors creation and their good standing in Nestle vendor systems and SAP

  • Discuss and negotiate with vendors when needed to get best pricing in compliance with Nestle policies

  • Ensure invoices paid on time by coordinating with PO requestors, vendors, and Account Payables while being sure to report on delays frequently

  • Manage and report PO creation for Engineering and Maintenance with reference to budget

  • Manage the inventory and reconciliation of parts; investigate any variances

  • Report on storeroom metrics including out of stock, overmax, inventory accuracy, etc.

  • Execute Accounts Payable and invoicing functions critical to the storeroom including but not limited to invoicing investigations

  • Support Maintenance Planner and Technicians in parts staging and kits for preventative maintenance when needed

  • Coordinate Stock Room inventory cycle counts in cooperation Stock room attendant, as needed

  • Support Stock Room attendant in stock room management and organization when needed

  • Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted

  • Follow all Nestle policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)

  • All other duties as assigned to support Team, Factory, and NUSA business needs

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years’ experience in inventory control or a clerical role in a manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or military environment.

  • Experience with computers including CMMS, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and SAP applications.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

The approximate pay range for this position is $50,000 to $64,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
