The Opportunity

The Role

The HSF Senior Global Director – Hyatt Inclusive Collection is a remote role that requires initiative works independently – and thrives as a part of a larger dynamic team. The Hyatt Sales Force Americas team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong desire to lead and make an impact in our organization. This is not a position of tenure but a position of leadership, where you are responsible for refining communication among various stakeholders, leading a team of Directors and/or Managers, guiding and reporting on market and industry trends, and ensuring that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, this role is responsible for a portfolio of global accounts. This unique role holds responsibilities across M&E and HIC global sales teams, supporting the success of the overall HSF organization.

Core expectations:

Vision and Strategy: Having a clear vision and strategy for the organization's growth and success. This includes understanding the current challenges faced by the organization and identifying opportunities for improvement.

· Strategically develop key accounts through account management of the group to shift market share, drive brand loyalty, and deliver profitable results.

· Ensure that projects are completed and that stakeholder needs are met by following through and committing to the necessary time and resources.

Leadership: Providing effective leadership to the organization, which includes setting a positive tone, building trust, and creating/maintaining a collaborative culture. Also leading by example and inspiring others to perform at their best.

· Directly manage a team of Global Sales Directors & Managers within the M&E and HIC teams.

· SIP Compensation will follow the new BETA SIP format with a hybrid emphasis on strategic company priorities, revenue growth targets, and leadership/development.

Communication: An effective communicator, both internally and externally. Being able to articulate the organization's goals and vision clearly to all stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, and partners. Ability to present to and engage with audiences in person and virtually from C suite boardrooms to large conference venues in a way that represents the values and mission of the organization.

· Refine communication among various stakeholders to ensure that project goals are understood and met.

· Organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met.

· Use your vast understanding of Excel, Cognos, and Envision to develop reports and analyze data, ensuring that stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.

Accountability: Taking ownership and being accountable for the organization's performance. Setting measurable goals and holding themselves and their team accountable for achieving them.

· Support worldwide hotel sales needs based on agreed priorities and anticipated business levels and recommend strategic initiatives based on industry expertise.

· Support the development and growth of the Hyatt Inclusive Collection as industry-leading

· Change Management: Being adept at managing change within the organization. This includes identifying areas that need improvement, developing a change plan, and effectively implementing it.

· Results: Delivering results. Driving growth and profitability for the organization while ensuring that all stakeholders are satisfied with the organization's performance.

· Use strategic thinking to identify potential problems and develop solutions.

· Collaboration: Collaborating with other leaders within the organization to drive collective success. Fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration to ensure that all teams are aligned toward achieving common goals.

· Oversight on HSF initiatives including but not limited to FAM coordination, organizing and aligning field/HSF communication, Hyatt Inclusive Collection, and partnering with internal business partners and stakeholders on the success and growth of programs.

· Be available for off-peak work and travel as necessary to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

•A bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or hospitality management.

•A minimum of 5 years of experience in global sales.

•Experience across Sports, Media, Entertainment, Luxury & Lifestyle, all-inclusive brands, and Meetings/Events is preferred.

•A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.

•Comprehensive knowledge of hotels and sales practices.

•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

•A strong customer focus and relationship-building and customer service skills.

•Ability to influence stakeholders and business partners.

•A genuine desire to lead others, be agile, and challenge the status quo.

•A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.

•A passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, curiosity, and new skills, and building connections across the organization with stakeholders, colleagues, and guests.

•MS Office, Lanyon, Reserve, Opera, Oracle, and Envision preferred.

•This position is a remote-based role and can reside anywhere in the US.
