Actalent Electrical Engineer in Chester, Virginia
Job Title: Industrial Electrical EngineerJob Description
Independently perform Electrical Engineering activities for all phases of electrical development and equipment design for projects of moderate size and complexity. You must be fully competent in performing all conventional aspects of Electrical Engineering, applying independent judgment for the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering criteria, methods, and procedures. Assignments will require the investigation of several variables and periodic review of work done by less experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
Perform Electrical Engineering activities for all project phases.
Design and develop electrical equipment.
Evaluate, select, and adapt standard design engineering criteria, methods, and procedures.
Investigate multiple variables in assignments.
Review work done by less experienced engineers periodically.
Essential Skills
Competent in all conventional aspects of Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of industrial and/or manufacturing experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience in electrical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
EIT certification preferred.
PE certification is a plus.
Plant engineering experience is a plus.
Experience with Electrical Plan Drawings (Power, Lighting, Grounding, etc.).
Work Environment
Work will be conducted onsite in Chester, VA. This opportunity supports specialty projects with a rapidly growing organization. Employees are eligible for long-term bonuses and promotional opportunities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
