Description
We are in search of a dedicated Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join a law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role revolves around representing injured plaintiff-employees in theirWorkers’ Compensation cases at various levels. The workplace environment is dynamic and collaborative, with a focus on ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• Represent injured plaintiff-employees in their Workers’ Compensation cases
• Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to plaintiff-employees throughout all stages of their Workers’ Compensation case
• Assist plaintiff-employees in obtaining benefits under the North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act
• Litigate Workers’ Compensation cases at the Deputy Commissioner, Full Commission, and North Carolina Court of Appeals levels
• Draft pleadings, discovery documents, orders, and motions as required
• Negotiate settlement agreements, including terms and language, on behalf of plaintiff-employee clients
• Draft briefs for plaintiff-employees at various levels of the North Carolina Industrial Commission and the North Carolina Court of Appeals
• Oversee and manage Workers’ Compensation Case Managers and Paralegals
Requirements
2+ years of experience in workers compensation, personal injury, family law, immigration law, personal bankruptcy, or criminal law
NC Bar license required
