Description
We are on the search for a diligent Trial Litigation Attorney to join a law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. The key role of this position is to provide legal advice on personal injury issues, develop cases, and ensure progress by adhering to productivity and quality standards. This role also involves settling, mediating, arbitrating, and prosecuting defendants at trial.
• Conduct thorough legal research and keep clients updated on case developments
• Review investigative findings, police reports, medical reports, and reports of various state and federal agencies to develop personal injury cases
• Consult with experts and complete the discovery process in personal injury case development
• Prepare legal briefs, develop strategies, arguments, and testimony for personal injury cases
• Follow and enforce productivity and quality standards to maintain case progress
• Settle, mediate, arbitrate, and prosecute defendants at trial
• Plan, organize, and present arguments and counter-arguments in trials
• Engage expert witnesses and prepare and present evidence
• Prepare and interrogate witnesses, present closing arguments to the jury
• Study, evaluate, and redesign processes to improve quality results.
Requirements
Personal injury litigation experience highly preferred
NC Bar license required
