Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Charlotte, North Carolina
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the bustling hospitality industry in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be handling a variety of tasks related to accounts receivable, billing, and customer account management.
Responsibilities:
• Handle account reconciliation duties, ensuring all accounts are up-to-date and accurate.
• Oversee the accounts receivable process, including tracking and managing all incoming payments.
• Manage billing operations, generating invoices and sending them to customers in a timely manner.
• Coordinate cash applications, ensuring all cash receipts are applied correctly and promptly.
• Conduct cash collections, following up with customers to secure payment for overdue accounts.
• Oversee commercial collections, working with commercial clients to resolve any issues related to payment.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Oracle for various tasks including data entry, report generation, and financial analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Handle chargebacks, investigating and resolving any disputes from customers.
• Perform credit card reconciliation, ensuring all credit card transactions are accounted for and reconciled.
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete. Requirements • Proven experience with Account Reconciliation
• Demonstrable skills in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in Billing procedures
• Experience with Cash Applications
• Familiarity with Cash Collections processes
• Background in Commercial Collections
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Oracle software
• Understanding of General Ledger operations
• Experience dealing with Chargebacks
• Skills in Credit Card Reconciliation
• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures
