Job description:
Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Software Development Engineer in test (SDET) to help develop next generation of web-based test solution for a model-based system engineering platform. You will work on high-impact projects that define the future of their digital transformation with Aerospace domain!
Key responsibilities:
Develop web-based test solution for a model-based system engineering platform. Strong hands-on experience developing with Java, Spring-Boot and React JS. Shown knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and the ability to set up and handle automated deployment pipelines.
Build automation and self-serve tools to streamline operations, updating/enhancing our current software tools, automation of support processes, and documentation of our systems. Design and implement test automation aligned with the developed solution
Write software for Tools with high availability, high throughput, and high security. Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on migration from legacy solution sets to modern cloud-based solutions (AWS).
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create real-world solutions. Design and implement a web platform to federate, expose and leverage System Engineering information to provide additional capabilities
- Analyze and modify existing software as well as design, construct, and test end-user applications that meet user needs. Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
Required Skills
· Shown relevant industry experiences (at least 7 years) coding in languages including, but not limited to Java, Spring boot, React JS or Angular. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related technical field.
Experience with at least one of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Python or JavaScript.
Minimum 2 years (of total) experience as an engineer embedded in team in an agile and DevOps delivery environment.
Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development is essential. This includes expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React. On the back end, knowledge of server-side technologies such as JAVA, Spring Boot
Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and understanding of API design principles and standard processes. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
Know how on working with the architecture of Cameo MSOSA OR No Magic Cameo Systems OR Similar model-based system engineering platform.
