Leidos Systems Administrator in Chantilly, Virginia
Description
The Leidos program is in need of a Systems Administrator that responsible for installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of systems, including associated hardware. Responsibilities may include management of systems infrastructures, implementing best practices to Identify and recommend system functional specifications, configuration of physical and virtual systems, backup and recovery of IT infrastructure. Support duties may include updating and supporting systems by tuning performance, allocating storage space. Implementing critical patches, reviewing systems performance logs to identify anomalies and troubleshoot issues.
As a condition of employment, this position requires the candidate pass both a customer required medical and psychological screening
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicates with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.).
Works to influence project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience OR a Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience preferred or 12+ years’ experience in lieu of degree.
Clearance: Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with poly
Preferred Qualifications:
8 years of experience in Windows System Administrationand/or O&M experience
Must understand virtual server technologies
VMWare vCenter expertise
NetAPP storage expertise

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
