Job Overview :

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronic Warfare Engineer to join our team in support of P-963. This position will initially involve participation in a 10-week Electronic Warfare 101 course, followed by hands-on involvement in Electronic Warfare systems and technology. Successful candidates will receive training, mentoring, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge defense technologies.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Participate in a 10-week Electronic Warfare 101 course, gaining foundational knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and applications.

  • Verify Mission Data (MD) system responses using appropriate test scenarios in Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulators (CEESIM).

  • Support the collection, documentation, and post-test analysis of MD to evaluate programming effectiveness.

  • Use specialized tools to ingest intel data and program MD, ensuring integration with EW systems.

  • Work with a team of engineers to collaborate on MD products and ensure proper programming in alignment with mission objectives.

  • Design procedures to analyze testing results, ensuring accurate validation and effectiveness of systems.

  • Utilize the latest intel databases to perform detailed analysis and research, identifying potential threats and solutions.

  • Answer technical radar questions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Assist in radar system design and signal processing, applying knowledge in RF and Radar fundamentals.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Electronic Warfare or related technical fields.

  • Experience with intel tools such as NGES, FADE/MIST, and GALE.

  • Experience in Radio Frequency Design and Signals Processing.

  • Active TOP SECRET clearance

  • Strong understanding of Radar fundamentals and technical solutions.

  • US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in Optics and Photonics.

  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, or C#.

  • Familiarity with Air Force organizational structure, operations, and procedures.

  • Expertise in the latest electronic threats, indicators, and technical solutions.

Experience with tools such as MATLAB, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
