Blacklynx, a Jacobs company, is seeking a talented and motivated Engineer Intern (Electrical or Aerospace) to join our dynamic team. As an Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the field of electrical and/or aeronautical engineering. You will work on real-world projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and develop technical skills that will prepare you for a future career in engineering. Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of electrical or aeronautical systems and components.
Provide support for ongoing engineering projects, including documentation, data analysis, and reporting.
Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Participate in research and development activities to innovate and improve engineering processes and products.
Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering
Knowledge of engineering principles, proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CAD, MATLAB), and familiarity with industry standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
US Citizenship is required
Experience with specific tools or technologies relevant to the role (e.g., circuit design, flight simulation software).
