Aerotek Assembler in Chandler, Arizona
Job Title: Machine Assembler, Finish Machine Assembler, General Assembler
Shift : 6:00 am-2:30 pm, with possibilities of extending hours from 5:00 am up to 4:00/5:00 pm. Candidates are expected to work up to 10 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
Location : Riggs Rd/ Arizona Ave Area
Pay: $20/hr to $21/hr
Job Description
Machine Assembler
Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.
MIG welding, plasma cutting and metal fabrication experience is a plus.
Willing to work overtime when needed.
Finish Machine Assembler
Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.
Position involves some wiring, installation of engines, hydraulic components and hoses, decals and lights on painted machines.
Willing to work overtime when needed.
General Assembler
Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.
Position involves the assembly of a wide range of parts needed for the assembly of the larger units.
Candidate could possibly be utilized as a machine operator for the Band Saw, Brake press, Plate Roller, Plasma Tables etc.
Hard Skills
8+ months of assembly experience
Must have mechanical assembly, mechanic experience
Electrical assembly highly preferred
Any experience with press breaks, shears and basic CNC's a plus
Blueprint reading a big plus
Soft Skills
Willingness to work overtime
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Chandler, Arizona.
Work Environment
This role is based in a large manufacturing setting, which includes both indoor and outdoor environments.
While parts of the area are air-conditioned, most are not.
Steel-toed footwear, work jeans, and t-shirts are required attire.
