Farnsworth Group is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in one of the below posting locations. In this role, qualified candidates would lead the day-to-day production of industrial, oil & gas, water/wastewater, and other technically complex projects.

Job Activities:
Assume multi-project responsibilities for full Electrical design, including Power distribution, Lighting, Telecommunications, Controls, Renewable Energy Systems, and electrical MV systems design for industrial and oil and gas markets.
Candidate will actively engage in and assume responsibility for:
Code research and application
Fieldwork to ascertain existing conditions.
Preliminary schematics through final designs
Calculations
Equipment specification, sizing, and layout
Coordination with other production staff
Preparation of accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications
submittal review and construction administration.
Candidate will interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors and maintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality.
This role includes responsibility for mentoring engineers, designers, and drafters.
This role reports to an engineering manager, who will also provide mentoring and training opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
Specific Requirements include:
Electrical engineer with 8-10 years of experience in technically complex system design.
BS in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer License (PE) is required.
Wide range of design experience, including industrial power distribution, controls and MV systems.
Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with others and work on multiple, simultaneous projects.
Ability to solve complex power engineering problems.
Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of codes and standards associated with electrical power, including National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, and applicable IEEE Standards.
Ability to pass background checks and willingness to comply with immunization requirements that our industrial clients may require to access their facilities.
Ability to complete occasional travel to client sites in support of projects.
NCEES Record holder preferred.
Knowledge of Navisworks software preferred.
Knowledge of SKM PowerTools or ETap preferred.

Salary Range: $96,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
