Overview

 

Purpose:

This position is responsible for debugging, validating and documenting automated guided vehicles (AGVs) prior to shipment to customer sites.

Responsibilities:

Completes Vehicle Test Plans which may include any or all of the following tasks:

    • Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic debug of AGV's
    • Vehicle configuration adjustment
    • Vehicle calibration and tuning
    • Validation of project requirements
    • Validation of vehicle safety systems
    • Assisting with application software development and documentation
    • Documenting changes to test and debug processes
    • Implementing changes to the test environment hardware or software

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Associate degree in Engineering or Software from two-year college or university, or the equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Experience:

    • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
    • Previous software development experience, including revision control
    • Familiar with AutoCAD
    • Proficient in the use of electrical/electronic test equipment

Special Position Requirements:

    • Ability to travel, domestic and international, up to 25%
    • Current valid driver's license
