Your Role
This role is accountable for execution of Tax activities, Compliance and Board of Investment (BOI) related activities for the Global Service in Cebu. Ensuring accuracy, completeness and correctness of all necessary reports and filings.
Your Responsibilities
Applies current knowledge on PEZA/BOI and BIR practices to ensure all requirements are complied with.
Ensures all needed operating Licenses and Permits are in place and renewed.
Supports the management by reviewing all regulatory needs for new business development plans.
Complies with internal tax reporting and local statutory requirements.
Coordinate and provides information and documentation for internal/ external auditors
Files appropriate paper works for BIR and other local agencies to make sure the organization pays the correct amount of tax.
Liaise with internal stakeholders for tax advisory when necessary and keep abreast of regulation changes and development related to tax matters.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
3-5 years of experience in PEZA and Relevant Audit/Consultancy
Experienced with PEZA/BOI documentations and processing.
Previous experience with Tax Audits and interfaces with BIR
