Maintenance Technician is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities/Duties
andidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Positions requires extensive experience in machine repair, as well as knowledge of plastics extrusion operation. Must possess strong mechanical and communications skills and have a strong general knowledge of plant maintenance.
Requires basic working knowledge of power hand tools drills, saws, cutting tools
Responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks on all types of production equipment.
Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
Inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate malfunctions.
Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
The employee must be able to show basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in the facility.
