Job Title: Medical Device Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for the manufacturing of medical devices, including catheter assembly under a microscope. This position requires adherence to strict quality and safety standards to ensure the integrity of our products.
Responsibilities
Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Line Clearance, Work Instructions, assembly methods, product handling methods, production drawings, Good Documentation Practices, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and Safety requirements.
Successfully complete training on production tasks. Understand travelers/routers, how to identify materials, use a microscope, and use production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds.
Operate tools and equipment, and complete documentation as required.
Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks.
Work directly with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality are met at all times.
Assist Engineers in developing process documentation.
Perform inventory counts.
Other duties as assigned, receiving verbal instructions regarding tasks to be performed.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of medical device assembly and production or small electronics experience.
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing/production environment or prototyping experience.
Prior experience with catheter product manufacturing is a plus.
Use of required safety equipment when performing lab work.
Experience with microscopes and medical device assembly.
Prior cleanroom experience.
Ability to understand and perform in-process inspections to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in using EFD dispensers and UV curing systems.
Experience working with adhesives, such as different types of Loctite.
Excellent communication skills.

Work Environment
You will be working in a cleanroom environment with 4 openings available on the 2nd shift. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can excel in this role and contribute to our team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
