The Pipeline Solutions Sales Director - Onstream, will be responsible for leading MISTRAS’ North America sales resources focused on growing pipeline integrity related business activities. In this role, his/her responsibilities will include aligning sales with MISTRAS’ overall strategic growth targets and ensuring strong coordination with Operations, Data Analysis, Integrity Services, and other internal stakeholders. Essential to this role is the ability to motivate and lead the sales teams as well as build successful sales plans that consider market size, trends, competitive landscape, and respective market share. Additionally, this person will implement the organization’s plans to win new business, while providing market feedback for strategic course correction, as needed.

The Pipeline Solutions Sales Director is a key leadership position, instrumental in cultivating a dynamic learning, caring, purpose-driven culture within the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to fostering continuous professional development amongst the sales team and other internal stakeholders. By championing a culture of learning, caring, and purpose, the Pipeline Services Sales Director will not only enhance individual capabilities, but also drive overall team performance and organizational success.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Strategic & Operations Management.

  • Work closely with MISTRAS’ Senior Leadership Team to develop strategic direction and growth objectives for the Pipeline business activities, including pipeline inline inspection (ILI), and integrity engineering services.

  • Establish goals and sales objectives to help drive top line revenue growth.

  • Review financial and operating results to determine whether current pricing is meeting business goals and where departments stand relative to budget; identify trends related to high or low performance; identify priorities for follow-up actions.

  • Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating revenues in collaboration with MISTRAS’ Senior Leadership Team.

  • Ensure adherence to all quality standards.

  • People Management & Development.

  • Ensure high safety standards at all times through performance, promotion, and direct participation.

  • Directly manage/ oversee Sales team activities.

  • Ensure effective talent recruitment.

  • Oversee performance management to ensure that all personnel are performing to their full potential.

  • Identify areas for additional training & development through interaction with management and personnel.

  • Ensure the delivery of appropriate training to new and existing personnel.

  • Coach team members to ensure personnel are continually growing to meet MISTRAS’ long-term business goals.

  • As needed, develops policies, procedures, and standards for implementation.

  • Sales Leadership.

  • Lead the sales team to develop and implement strategies that drive increased sales and profits.

  • Monitor the sales process from lead development, through quoting, closing, and sales verification using MISTRAS’ CRM. system; develop and regularly distribute sales funnel and management overview reports on the team’s activities.

  • Promote leading technology solutions and exceptional service to the industry.

  • Maintain strong existing client relationships for retention and revenue maximization.

  • Educate and train internal/ external clients on technical aspects of our offerings.

  • Develop and deliver technical sales presentations in a professional and effective manner.

  • Represent MISTRAS at trade shows, professional meetings, and industry forums, as required.

  • Lead the inside sales team to provide exceptional communication with the client throughout the project.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15+ years of combined experience in pipeline inspection and integrity services-related and/or sales leadership/management roles.

  • Experience in forming and implementing strategic and/or sales plans.

  • Degree or Diploma in a related business or technical field.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong, senior-level relationships within customer organizations.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word.

  • Strong working knowledge of Sales CRM systems (e.g., Zoho, Salesforce, Hubspot).

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals while managing a de-centralized sales team.
