Job Description:
In this position as a Technical Clerk supporting the Underground Initiative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining efficient operations within the construction project. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a utility setting and work on committed projects over the next five years, contributing to a key strategic project scope.
Responsibilities:
Maintain weekly schedules for field inspectors
Prepare, document, and support record tracking for crew evaluations
Assemble and track updates with material report distribution, including design changes to the field
Compile job closeouts
Provide invoicing, auditing, and reconciliation for the team
Work with internal teams to update and process invoicing
Perform general office duties such as internal memo/communications, meeting scheduling, and database management
Handle materials, including planning and document management
Write reports and manage clerical and administrative tasks
Reconcile invoices and track projects
Manage purchase orders and provide technical support
Deliver customer service and data entry
Assist in project management, construction management, and material take-off processes
Process work orders
Essential Skills:
Experience using Microsoft products
Invoicing
Document management
Client support
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in clerical and administrative tasks
Technical support experience
Project tracking and management skills
Knowledge of construction and construction management
Material handling and planning
Customer service experience
Work Environment:
This position will be based in a fast-paced environment at the General Services complex. There are opportunities to evolve into a hybrid setting, allowing for partial remote work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
