Tasting Room Specialist

We are looking for an individual with unstoppable energy, a guest-service mind, creativity, a positive attitude, flexibility, a cooperative and agreeable nature, and a multi-tasker to join our team. As a Tasting Room Specialist, you will serve and sell wine in our tasting room, interact with guests, and support team members in multiple capacities during public events. Wine knowledge is appreciated but not required

Roles and Responsibilities Work with a team: Tasting Room Manager, Operations Key Holders and Wine Club coordinator Report to Tasting Room Manager Actively promote our events and Wine Club Provide exceptional guest service according to Lost Oak standards Make sure that the Tasting Room is visually and operationally ready for business every day. Assist guests in the tasting room: tastings, wine/merchandise sales, private event inquiries, Lost Oak event inquiries, shipping wine, etc. Conduct guided tastings Run transactions through point-of-sale software, collect payment All other tasting room activities as determined by management and Above all, ensure that guests have an exceptional experience and take away a positive brand image of Lost Oak Winery.

Requirements Experience in hospitality, retail, sales, or related job Enjoy working with guests and guest-service minded Endurance for the physical demands of the job Part-time position, evenings and weekends, primarily Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Shifts are average 4-6 hours per day Must be available at least six days per month Daytime availability is appreciated but not required Wine knowledge is appreciated but not required

Physical Demands The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to handle, feel, and reach. ? The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. As wine tasting is essential to the job, employees must also be able to taste and smell. ?Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision and depth perception.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
