JAG Healthcare Burbank is now hiring in the Therapy Department to add to our care team! We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full time position we have available!
JAG Healthcare Burbank comprises 81 long-term care rooms and 5 assisted living apartments with a warm neighborhood atmosphere. We provide person-centered care to all of our residents and treat them with the dignity and respect that they deserve. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with the elderly population. We are so proud of the employees who make our facility great! Skills & Qualifications:
- Physical therapist assistant (PTA) education, obtained in a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program
- Holds a current state license/certification
- Competency in therapy treatment principles, techniques, materials and equipment utilization
- Knowledge of state and federal accreditation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Delivery of restorative nursing programs
