Talent Acquisition Coordinator: HYBRID

JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for the onboarding of all newly hired team members and supporting the full lifecycle of recruiting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for managing administrative tasks to complete the onboarding for all candidates once a position is accepted. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Processing all background checks, new hire paperwork, and files in accordance with established legal and policy requirements, ensuring accuracy.

  • Tracking and Completing I-9 forms for all new team members.

  • Troubleshooting various scenarios during the onboarding process for new team members and providing excellent customer service.

  • Coordinating with various departments with clear and consistent communication to ensure the new team members will have the appropriate access to systems, equipment, and facilities on their first day of employment.

  • Serving as primary point of contact for onboarding team members.

• Provide support throughout the entire recruitment process including posting, sourcing, prescreening, scheduling, background checks, references, offers, and onboarding.

• Complete hiring tasks and track onboarding progress for all new team members within the HRIS. Maintains tracking sheets, hiring updates and metrics relating to recruitment.

• Supports the utilization of passive and direct sourcing techniques to identify and attract prospective candidates and build a strong talent pipeline.

• Communicate appropriately and consistently with hiring managers, HR partners, external contacts and potential candidates (regardless of that individual’s eventual disposition); to ensure a positive candidate experience.

• Use the applicant tracking system to open jobs and maintain accurate and up to date candidate records.

• Notify necessary departments and individuals about the hiring of new team members in a timely manner.

• Work within the Human Resources team to recommend and develop best practices and standard operating procedures.

• Ensures hiring practices are aligned with the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the Company.

• Supporting other functions within Human Resources as time allows.

• Other duties as necessary or assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong attention to detail skills to ensure accuracy in reviewing onboarding documents.

• Excellent organization, time-management, and task-management skills to navigate a fast-paced and diverse environment.

• Adaptability and troubleshooting skills to assist new team members with various scenarios during the onboarding process.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, and high priority projects with varying deadlines.

• Sound business acumen with the ability to establish credibility, trust and partnership at all levels of the organization.

• Independence while working effectively and collaboratively within the team.

• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment.

• Absolute confidentiality skills.

• Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

• Proficiency in developing reports to meet the needs of the Human Resources department.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Associate degree preferred

  • At least 1 year of HR/Talent Acquisition experience preferred

  • Familiarity with I/DD provider agencies, OPWDD, or Health Homes preferred
