Summary:
Provides professional assessments, case management and intervention to students and families experiencing social and emotional stress in the school setting. Provide group and individual counseling to students.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
Master Level Certified Social Worker with experience in group and individual counseling required
LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) or LCSW (Licensed Certified Social Worker) Required
EXPERIENCE
Experience in group and individual counseling required
Three years minimum social work experience required - Preferably in a school setting
KNOWLEDGE,SKILL AND ABILITY
Must possess extensive knowledge of community resources, good case management skills
Ability to perform social work and case management services
Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
WORKING CONDITIONS
School-Based Health Clinic, serving students in elementary grades, provides services to high risk students
