Title: Human Resource Generalist Job Description: In this role the Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for overseeing and wide range of HR functions including but not limited to benefits and leave administration; compliance, audits and record keeping; recruitment, onboarding, engagement, recognition, and offboarding; minor disciplinary matters and employee coaching, as well as other HR functions.

Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Benefits Administration: Assist with employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, leaves and other offerings.

Guides employees through education, enrollment and support.

Maintains and track hours for all leaves (FMLA, ADA, WC) ?

Vendor management and monthly reconciliation:

Works with insurance and retirement plan providers to ensure employee enrollment data is correct and benefit cost are reconciled monthly and insurance bills are processed and paid. ?

Onboarding and Offboarding:

Receives requisitions, Coordinates job postings, Conduct background/reference/education checks and employee eligibility verifications of final candidates.

Support the new hire onboarding process and conduct orientation.

Supports team member offboarding ensuring compliance in all areas. ?

Data Management: Maintain and update employee records in the companys HRIS, ensuring all data is accurate, confidential, and compliant.

Assist with audits and reporting to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

Utilize technology to generate audit and payroll reports in a timely manner. ?

Build influential relationships across the organization and partners with managers/supervisors to resolve employee attendance issues and/or address basic disciplinary issues. ?

Ability to explain policies and procedures to employees and/or coaching employees on issues, rules, and policies, which may include handling confidential information and answering complex questions. ?

Fosters a positive workplace culture by developing, implementing and assisting with initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, recognition and continuous improvement. ?

Maintain knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.

Applies knowledge and makes recommendations for changes to HR policies and practices. ?

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance. ?

Providing support to the Director of HR for Payroll processing.

Understand the process and act as a backup for processing payroll in the absence of the Director. ?

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ?

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ?

Possesses excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. ?

Detail-oriented, organized, ability to prioritize tasks and comfortable with handling multiple tasks simultaneously. ?

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. ?

Actively identifies new areas for learning; using newly gained knowledge and skill on the job and learning through their application. ?

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. ?

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. ?

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. ?

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS: ADP Education and Experience: ?

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. ?

Three to five years experience as an HR Generalist ?

Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP, or other professional certification, required or obtained within 6 months. ?

Maintain on-going professional education to ensure compliance with Human Resource related employment laws, trends and regulations governing human resource activities.

Salary Range: Salary: $50,000 - $ 58,000 DOQ plus robust benefits package Open until filled.
