Mission: The Product and Application Specialist role for our Underground Division is expected to be the technical and application expert on the product and market segments they serve. This role works closely with Epiroc Product Companies (PCs) to ensure that product availability aligns with customer expectations and that current and future customer product needs are communicated promptly to the PCs. We enable our customers in transformational change and optimization through enhanced safety technology, digitalization, automation, energy efficiency and electrification. The work environment in the mining and tunneling industries has unique and interesting challenges one won't find in other professions. It is all encompassing, anywhere from office attire one day to working in a rough and rugged environment another day in some of the most beautiful and pristine areas of the country. This position is considered safety sensitive and in all situations an emphasis on personal health and safety must be maintained.
Responsibilities: Preparing and presenting value-driven business proposals for internal and external customers Completion of value assessments for customers who are considering implementation of new equipment, Digitalization, Automation or Electrification technologies Participate in quotations or tender submissions, assuring that machine configuration will deliver to customer needs / expectation, whilst adhering to approved discount structure Manage the Planning and Order to Delivery process for your products between the Customer Center and Product Company Mine/tunnelling customer fleet mapping as input for Market Intelligence Determine market potential as well as market trends and technologies as input to sales strategy, product development and development of sustainable solutions Providing application training for our dealer and direct sales / technical specialists Collaborate with the Automation team on Machine + Automation opportunities as well as the Rock Drilling Tools, Ground Support and Parts & Service team for bundling opportunities

Highly motivated, "hands on", energized, enthusiastic with passion and commitment for doing things in the right way without risking loss of busine Respect for all people and cultures. Familiarity with underground mining and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) desired. Strong analytical, mechanical/technical background is required for issue resolution & reasoning/discussing "root cause analysis". A big picture thinker with the ability to identify and take calculated risks. Strong written and verbal communications; native level fluency in English. Analyti al including strong data analysis, data visualization and presentation skills.
