Insight Global IBM Sterling Platform Engineer in Broomfield, Colorado
Job Description
A client of Insight Global's in the Broomfield area is looking for an IBM Sterling Platform Engineer to join their team. This person will be responsible for all IBM Sterling platform operations, testing, and integrations. The person in this role will be the only in house IBM technical expert on the enterprise IT team. Extensive IBM Sterling knowledge is crucial to success in this position. The first months of this role will be dedicated to learning the environment and working with IBM team. Upon go live in June this person will be responsible for triaging issues in the alert que, reviewing order status issues, etc.
This is a 6 month contract to hire position. Conversion is dependent on a variety of factors so the contract portion of this role could extend past the 6 months.
This position has an onsite requirement of 3 days a week for candidates local to Colorado.
Compensation:
$65/hr to $75/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience as an IBM Sterling Technical Specialist with IBM Sterling OMS working on technical platform operations, testing, and system integration.
Experience working in B2C environments with IBM Sterling and integrations including EDI, XML, STFP.
Knowledge of software engineering practices for SDLC, code standards, and source control management in an Agile environment.
Experience working with stakeholders, technical groups, and suppliers.
Ability to problem solve and analyze complex issues while breaking them down into actionable steps. - Experience in the retail industry. null
