Job Description:
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for processing source data/documents while performing routine, repetitive, and detail-oriented accounting, payroll, accounts payable, account receivable, revenue cycle, and reimbursement (hereafter, and collectively referred to as 'accounting') tasks. Under general supervision, this position performs accounting duties and responsibilities listed. Position purpose to be adjusted for area of position responsibility
Distributes incoming and outgoing mail.
Greets and directs visitors.
Answers front desk phone lines and passes information to staff.
Assists clerks when necessary with processing Purchase Order and Non-Purchase order invoices.
Assigns new vendor numbers.
Scans and QAs all received Accounts Payable Documents
Handles Vendor Statement reconciliations, as well as internal reconciliations of open PO lines and open credit lines.
Handles end-to-end Customer Service calls /emails independently for internal and external customers.
Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent is required
Intermediate level typing and personal computer skills are required

Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$18.81 - $26.65
