We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to manage projects from inception to completion. The role involves electrical power distribution design using Revit, selecting project equipment, breaking down redlines, managing client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and handling lighting design.
Responsibilities
Manage projects from start to finish
Design electrical power distribution systems using Revit
Select appropriate equipment for various projects
Break down redlines and implement necessary changes
Manage client relationships and ensure their needs are met
Mentor and guide junior staff members
Design lighting systems for commercial buildings
Handle power distribution design tasks
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical design and engineering
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of power distribution systems and lighting systems for commercial buildings
Ability to mentor junior level staff
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and International Building Codes
Experience performing field surveys and developing as-built drawings
Strong project and client management skills
Ability to perform QA/QC project reviews
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with single line diagrams, panel schedules, wire sizing, voltage drop calculations, and short circuit calculations
Knowledge of lighting design specifications, controls, emergency/egress requirements, and circuiting
Experience in fire alarm design and applicable codes
Ability to review shop drawings
Knowledge of various construction means and methods, equipment manufacturers, and available products
Experience in managing multiple projects efficiently and meeting deadlines
Work Environment
Our office, located in Wall, NJ, operates from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, five days a week, with some flexibility if work is completed. We offer a collaborative workspace where employees can interact with all team members and work in different segments of the business. The office features sitting areas and kitchen space, fostering a clean and comfortable environment. During the summer, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, we offer summer hours allowing employees to complete 40 hours of work by 1 PM on Fridays, followed by a half-day and work-from-home option. The company handles around 150 different projects a year and provides significant growth opportunities. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.28 - $72.11/hr.
