- Maintain the Superintendent's calendar.
- Liaison between the Superintendent, parents, staff, students, community and vendors to field concerns, complaints and follow-up in a professional manner, which requires an in-depth knowledge of FERPA, the student code of conduct and bargaining unit contracts.
- Process and distribute District and Board of Education correspondence.
- Prepare and disseminate meeting agendas, minutes, related documents for Board meetings.
- Attend Board of Education and Committee meetings.
- Board of Education appointed positions: recording secretary, person responsible for posting of meetings and the District representative for elections.
- Make conference and hotel arrangements for members of the Board.
- Attend meetings, record information and represent the Superintendent and the District when needed.
- Review, prepare and disseminate student discipline documents. Provide follow-up for student discipline decisions which includes maintenance of data bases as required by the State.
