This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote out of our Brentwood, TN office location.
SUMMARY:
The Telecommunications and Administrative Coordinator provides support of company-wide mobile device management for CoreCivic including lifecycle management (ordering, support, contract management and disposal) for wireless and PDA devices. Provides administrative support to Technology Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements.
Works with vendors to coordinate installation, de-installation, and upgrade of services and equipment as assigned.
Responsible for all aspects of wireless/cellular phones, data devices (ie. iPhone), and pagers, including provisioning, setup and programming of devices. Works directly with Technology Support Center and Enterprise Operations teams to configure devices and applications to ensure they are working appropriately. Provides technical training to end users on device setup and usage as required.
Monitors wireless end-user compliance to company policy and reports discrepancies to management.
Obtains pricing from vendors and provisions for mobile devices as required, which includes gathering technical specifications from senior network engineers, completes necessary paperwork for new additions or deletions, and places orders with vendors.
Assists in monitoring monthly budget for variances. Works with members throughout the organization to collect and ascertain information to provide input for forecasting and budget preparation.
Monitors Help Desk tickets and resolves mobile device related problems. Ensures availability of supported technology, assisting application users succeed in their business goals.
Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information both inside and outside the company.
Schedules appointments/meetings and arranges travel schedules and reservations, as requested.
Greets visitors, ascertains nature of business and escorts visitors to appropriate person.
Using appropriate grammar and spelling, routinely composes and creates documents from handwritten or typewritten copy to include letters, memoranda, reports, correspondence, forms, statistical data, meeting minutes etc.
Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma, GED certification, or equivalent is required.
Three years of experience in a full-time secretarial or administrative office work, preferably in a similar position, is required.
Two years direct experience with mobile device management and customer support required. Solid understanding of telecommunications industry terms and standards required.
Experience working with provisioning and billing platforms under the major telecommunications carriers, to include AT&T, Sprint, Nextel, and Verizon, required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
A valid driver's license is required.
