Agronomy Sales Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Red River Grain/Hefty Seed Company is inviting Experienced Agronomists to join our team. This position is responsible for sales of products and services and the right candidate will oversee and manage his own location and bring independence and vibrancy to that location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initiate sales contacts and present and support the Hefty Brand products and services.

Grow volume of sales year over year.

Increase customer base year over year.

Actively engage with customers, providing excellent customer service to growers and proactively sharing information with them.

Actively engage in all Hefty trainings, Field Days, Farmer Meetings, and any and all other marketing activities providing within the business infrastructure.

Establish personal and store sales goals. Develop a regular sales call strategy with current customers and prospects, which will be reviewed on a weekly basis as the business gets established. Annual sales goals will be expected to be met, with minimums set by management.

Inventory management.

Complete all administrative qualities, in a timely and efficient manner.

Maintain the upkeep and maintenance of the location and facility to build up the store.

Direct supervision of site warehouse personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Agronomy related experience and/or Agronomy degree.

A competitive drive and a track record of success in sales.

Leadership skills.

Excellent communication skills and a team player.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Excellent time management skills.
