Education Qualifications:

Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Essentia Health St. Josephs Medical Center has an opportunity for a casual/as needed Sonographer to work bet available to work days/evenings/weekends at the hospital in Brainerd. St. Josephs Medical Center is a 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center with a 24-hour emergency room. We take pride in bringing a wide range of services to residents and visitors of the Brainerd, Minnesota area. St. Joseph’s is home to the Marilyn Covey Heart & Vascular Center and the St. Joseph’s Cancer Center. You’ll find us next to the Mississippi River in a setting that promotes good health and healing. As one of Essentia Health’s Catholic facilities, we strive to provide holistic healing for all human life.As a Sonographer with Essentia Health you will:Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire.

Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months - Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency.
