Inventory & Logistics Supervisor

We are presently seeking an Inventory& Logistics Supervisor that will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the operation of the stockroom and shipping and receiving areas. Ensure the team and processes are in place to support the goals and objectives of the organization.

Key responsibilities: Ensure that daily stock room tasks are resourced and accomplished correctly Develop, communicate, train and oversee policy and practices for inventory, job orders, shipping, and receiving transactions within the ERP syst Maintain accurate inventories of stockroom items in an organized, safe manner Supervise cycle count program and participate as needed in annual physical inventory audits Verify that all shipments are compliant with export controls including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) Develop and maintain work instructions for international and domestic shipments including: packaging, labeling, customer documentation, certificate of compliances, and shipment method. Participate in production meetings and maintain focus on backlog and customer deadlines Work with the team to identify opportunities for continual improvement Supervise stockroom personnel Approve time cards, time-off requests Conduct performance Check-Ins Ensure adequate team coverage based on workload Plan and support team cross-training Identify and facilitate training and development needs Participate as needed on cross-functional teams to ensure cohesiveness of product flow between the stock room, supply chain, and production Maintain KPIs for the warehouse and shipping & receiving Lead by example and uphold Company values and beliefs.

Qualifications: 5+ years experience in inventory control or manufacturing environment 2+ years experience in a supervisory or leadership roles APICS Certified Supply Chain Analyst or CPIM preferred Careful attention to detail and math ability required Must have strong computer skills and systems understanding and strong knowledge of Microsoft software Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Position is 50% at a desk and 50% on your feet or walking. Must have strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of individuals throughout the organization Must be a team player and willing to assist all areas of Excelitas. Pay Range: $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. This position will be a Director Level position at our Boulder Optics Manufacturing company.
