WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The NA Store Operations Specialist is a key member of the North America Store Operations Team supporting vendor and supply management, policy and procedures, data analysis, identifying and providing solutions to challenges and much more. This person will work closely with the NA Store Operations Manager and overall Stores Team to ensure company priorities are met. This position requires strong computer skills, proficient in excel and word, the ability to manage multiple projects at once, detail oriented, and the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working with a highly motivated team across North America Store Operations, Global Concepts, the full Stores Team and other business functions, at both the Geography and Global level.
As NA Store Operations Specialist, you will partner with our store vendors on a weekly and/or monthly basis, ensure our supply vendors are staying stocked for order cycles, support and manage the stores monthly supply budgets, and share critical updates to the NA Store Ops Manager and to store teams via our communications platform. The NA Store Ops Specialists supports updating and maintaining policies and standards, operations and stockroom programs, store renovations and relocations as well as our store Converse By You (CBY) program. You will foster authentic connections with cross functional partners across NA to advance store programs and processes that can better support our retail stores.
A typical week might include providing support and propose recommendations for improvements to tools and information used within retail stores, maintaining clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations, and interact with vendors and retail store employees.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Converse operates within a matrixed structure. You will directly report to the North America Store Operations Manager as a part of a NA Store Operations Team.
As part of the North America Store Operations and Direct organization, you will engage and liaise with your North America Direct counterparts at the NA Geo level.
As a member of the NA Geography team, you will partner with the NA Store Operations Team and other functional teams to help develop and execute strategic operational planning.
WHAT YOU BRING
Requires a Bachelors degree or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training
Previous Store Operational or Retail Store experience preferred
Experience with a fashion or sneaker brand and clear point of view on the industry, key players and a perspective on where it’s headed.
Strong speaking, writing and organization skills.
Explicit, long-term interest in pursuing a career in Operations.
Proficient knowledge in Excel, Word and Box
