<p><em>This role reports into our Boston office Monday-Thursday with rotating Fridays and on-call night shifts as needed. Schedule flexibility is required for this role.</em><strong><br></strong></p>

<p>A successful Intelligence Specialist candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas and be willing to learn and develop new skills. This is a multi-disciplinary role that will rotate between focuses while having opportunities to specialize in areas of need or interest. Critical thinking, excellent communication, collaborative attitude, and attention to detail are essential skills for this position.</p>

<p><strong>GSOC Operations Support</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Monitor and analyze information from tools/apps through open sources to identify potential threats and risks to Wayfair’s personnel, facilities, and assets within the Global Safety &amp; Security Operations Center (GSOC)</li>

<li>Assist in the development and implementation of safety and security protocols as well as&nbsp; education and training initiatives in collaboration with GSOC leadership</li>

<li>Collaborate with GSOC leadership to enhance safety and security measures and ensure compliance with standards</li>

<li>Provide regular updates on project status and outstanding issues, specifically around travel risk assessment and severe weather coordination</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Investigations Support</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Assist the investigations team with analytical support to identify threats to the organization through open-source intelligence resources, exception reporting and tips</li>

<li>Help develop and evolve current investigation procedures and continue the evolution of our case management/ticketing system</li>

<li>Report investigative findings to the investigations team and/or appropriate field partners</li>

<li>Support field leadership with investigations for the global enterprise</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Corporate Safety and Security</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Perform daily front desk functions by monitoring alarms, access control, and events that may impact Wayfair’s HQ operations and assets</li>

<li>Review, analyze, respond, and escalate issues to help mitigate threats to Wayfair's employees, property, and partners in Boston</li>

<li>Perform Safety and Security duties as assigned and assist in the day-to-day operations at headquarters</li>

<li>Maintain detailed records of communications and events, interaction and incident tracking, case management, safety compliance, and supporting calendars</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Monitor and analyze security alerts and events in real-time</li>

<li>Investigate security incidents and take appropriate action</li>

<li>Dispatch and coordinate responses to security incidents</li>

<li>Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about security incidents</li>

<li>Manage accurate records of all safety and security incidents and events while maintaining confidentiality</li>

<li>Participate in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures</li>

<li>Stay up-to-date on the latest safety and security threats and trends</li>

<li>Exercise independent judgment in interpreting information and making decisions within the scope of assigned tasks</li>

<li>Perform other related duties as required to support Global Safety and Security Central Operations</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>2+ years of experience in a security operations or investigations role</li>

<li>Strong understanding of safety and security concepts and technologies</li>

<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li>

<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>

<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment</li>

<li>Flexibility with work schedule</li>
