Quality Control Technician
1st Shift $22-$23/hr
Long Term Project
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing team on a long-term project basis. This manufacturer specializes in hydraulic solutions, including valves, pumps, etc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality control inspections and tests during and after production. This role involves using various precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM.
The typical schedule will be 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacturing of products.
Use various gauges, meters, tape measures, micrometers, calipers, CMM, and electrical equipment to check parts' dimensions.
Inspect materials, parts, and products at different stages of production.
Record observations and make recommendations for improving processes.
Prepare documents outlining the standards of operation.
Work with managers to enact and maintain new standards.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in a Quality Inspector/Technician role.
Ability to operate a CMM (programming skills is a plus)
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
High school diploma required.
Familiar with hardness tester, laser measurements, spring tester, and 3D visual measuring systems preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
