We are looking for a Senior Finance & Accounting Manager to play a crucial role in driving the financial success of our newly launched Consolidated Service Center (CSC) ! What You Can Expect
Strategic Leadership: Oversee complex financial projects, providing direction and leadership while influencing cross-functional teams to drive initiatives forward.
Financial Analytics and Cost Accounting: Develop and maintain standard processes and procedures for administrative and warehouse overhead allocations, analyzing costs and providing insight into cost savings opportunities associated with the full life cycle of inventory.
Reporting and Analysis : Responsible for accurate and complete financial management reporting, operational reporting (as compared to the pro forma, the annual forecast, and key performance metrics), and detailed variance analysis. Develop cost models to forecast expenses and profitability models to analyze product performance within the distribution network. Present reports to leadership, highlight key KPI’s and explain financial results.
Demand Planning Coordination: Support demand planning activities to ensure finance is informed about significant purchasing decisions.
Inventory Performance Management: Understand inventory processes, including cycle counts, obsolescence, and consignment activity. Work closely with the finance and warehousing teams to ensure accurate inventory management.
Collaborative Partner: Work closely with Supply Chain teams, ensuring seamless integration of financial data and compliance with business goals and regulations.
Operational Excellence: Ensure all financial processes, from procurement to distribution, align with the company’s financial goals, improving cost efficiencies and streamlining operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Eight (8) years' relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Education : Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Industry Expertise: Proven experience in distribution center environments or similar settings, with a deep understanding of cost accounting, overhead allocations, and inventory management processes.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, influence, and coordinate with multiple teams across various functions, ensuring smooth project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
Analytical Strength: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in financial modeling, variance analysis, financial analytics, financial management reporting, and decision-making that drives business success.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with reporting tools such as INFOR, Tecsys, PowerBI , or similar systems.
Public accounting experience in distribution centers.
Experience with inventory management processes.
Clear Communicator: Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise between teams, ensuring accurate financial data and smooth operations.
