The Product Licensing Director will be responsible for securing contracts, licenses, and sources of supply for Silicon Carbide (SiC) and other new technologies as needed to grow the GE Aerospace Electric Power business.
In this role, you will establish internal and external funding, a sales pipeline, and marketing strategy for SiC as well as work with supply chain, and business development in partnership to leverage a cross-functional team in GEAR, Commercial Aviation Engines, and Defense & Systems.
Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
Proactively lead SiC strategy alignment across all GE businesses
Lead the development, implementation, and measurement of success for SiC execution across all functions
Lead efforts to secure government funding via federal and local representatives and DoD leadership
Work with the finance team to secure internal funding for continued business growth
Drive growth in core and adjacent markets with branding, communications, marketing, and sales team efforts
Champion deal strategy development and reviews to approve pricing, delivery, and commercial terms
Negotiate business development partnerships to ensure long-term business viability
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
Minimum of 10 years of experience in licensing and program management
Additional Information
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

The base pay range for this position is $165,500.00 - 220,700.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 4/1/2025 .
