We are moving our headquarters to Eagan in 2025! This role is based at our current HQ in Bloomington but will move to Eagan in 2025. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in the administration, planning, and execution of electrical construction projects across the Greater Twin Cities area. Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll supervise projects from inception to completion, developing customer relationships and ensuring economic project management while upholding our commitment to quality workmanship. Bring your electrical construction expertise, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn, and embark on a career that offers both autonomy and teamwork. - Assist the Project Manager in supervising the project through purchasing, engineering, subletting and installation. - Develop and maintain good customer relations. - Manage assigned projects as economically as possible while recognizing a company commitment to quality workmanship, positive industry image and customer satisfaction. - Assist in preparing, processing and maintaining all files, correspondence, schedules, reports, billing, etc. necessary to perform the responsibilities of the contract. - Complete submittals and close outs for projects. - Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Two (2) year degree in electrical construction, construction management, similar discipline, or equivalent experience. - National Electrical Code knowledge. - Drawing/blueprint reading and specification experience. - Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word computer skills. - Bluebeam and CAD experience preferred. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to meet daily deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Valid driver s license required
