Overview Responsibilities include managing aspects of the Cook Global Ethics and Compliance (EandC) Program and guiding the integration and promotion of the EandC Program throughout the Cook organization by raising awareness of ethics and compliance-related risks and collaborating cross-functionally to implement and continuously improve risk mitigation strategies
Responsibilities * Guide EandC Representatives to integrate and promote the EandC Program within Cook entities and functional areas * Support EandC Program maturity and effectiveness assessments, data insights, metrics reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives * Assist ethics and compliance-related risk management activities * Strategically plan and manage the lifecycle of EandC written standards, trainings, and communications as assigned * Develop effective written standards, training content, and engaging communication materials for various audiences and media formats * Collaborate with various functional areas on behalf of EandC to align with established processes for the management of written standards, training, and communication * Maintain electronic communication channels for EandC, including the SharePoint pages, Life@Cook app, and external web content * Stay informed about EandC Program initiatives, industries in which Cook operates, and business activities conducted by Cook entities * Develop and maintain knowledge of external applicable standards while monitoring regulatory intelligence and enforcement trends related the ethics and compliance matters * Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, engagement, and natural curiosity, while also demonstrating a sense of urgency when necessary * Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Perform effectively in collaborative work situations, interacting professionally with others throughout assignments and with various levels of the global organization * Must have strong oral presentation and written communication skills * Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
Qualifications Minimum Work Experience/Educational Requirements * Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent with minimum 7 years relevant experience * Experience working in training, communications, marketing, or compliance-related field, such as ethics and compliance, risk management, legal, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs * Proven ability to perform subject matter research and effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences * Experience in developing and delivering training preferred * Demonstrated organizational and project management skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Proficiency in SharePoint Online, SmartSheet, and Cornerstone software would be useful
Physical Requirements/Work Environment * General office environment * Requires sitting for extended periods * Requires close visual acuity when working with computers, etc. * Requires occasional early morning or late evening teleconferences * Domestic and international travel as required * Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
