Maintenance Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager with extensive knowledge of trade skills, materials, and tools. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations pertaining to public housing, possess strong math skills for cost estimating and budgeting, and have the ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and plans. Effective communication with outsource companies and maintaining clear and concise reports and records are essential. The candidate should also be proficient in operating CMMS systems and using equipment with precision.
Responsibilities
Manage maintenance operations and supervise maintenance staff.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations pertaining to public housing.
Estimate costs and create budgets for maintenance projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and plans.
Communicate effectively with outsource companies.
Maintain clear and concise reports and records.
Operate CMMS systems efficiently.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
Essential Skills

5+ years of relevant experience
Degree from a technical school in building construction, engineering, or construction management

Previous experience working with unions

Previous experience as a building and grounds supervisor/manager
Ability to stand or sit for 8 hours

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
