WSP is looking for a Project Manager to join our industry-leading Intelligent Transport Services team. We provide technical professional services to transport clients throughout the UK and overseas.
We provide consultancy and engineering services to clients throughout the UK and overseas. A little more about your role…
The Systems & Infrastructure team provides strategy and systems design, specification and testing assurance and solution guidance to a range of internal and external clients, and we require an experience Project Manager with experience leading projects in this space.
They will be responsible for the delivery of project management services to internal and external clients and bringing exemplar market leadership and knowledge to lead the delivery of projects on time, to the quality required, and within the allocated budget, including primary client interface.
Manage project budgets and finances, including invoicing, cash collection and forecasting on our Oracle ERP system
Ensure the delivery of client outcomes, whilst meeting utilisation targets, including corrective action and regularly reviewing performance and outputs in conjunction with the Project Director.
Establishes and maintains good working relationships and communication with clients, stakeholders, colleagues, project teams, and internal staff at all levels;
Working closely with clients to shape and determine scope and requirements, followed by management of the delivery of technical outputs
Delivers reports, presentations, project documentation and project management documentation including project status reports, quality management plans and other financial control documents;
Direct the development and deployment of appropriate project control and management methodologies to support both proposals and project delivery;
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
Undergraduate Degree, or relevant experience.
Awareness of Project Management methodologies and relevant experience at various stages of the project lifecycle, to achieve successful delivery
Relevant Project Management qualification (for example APMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or ITIL Foundation)
Experience managing finances, especially on Oracle or similar ERP systems
Ability to lead and mentor other project team members
Able to multi-task and meet various project deadlines;
