Description
Robert Half Talent Solutions is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accountant in the manufacturing industry, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, 18017, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of production costs, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements. Your primary objective will be to enhance profitability and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost forecasts and budgets.
Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams to optimize production processes and cost efficiencies.
Conduct regular cost audits and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
Provide insights and analysis on cost trends and variances to management.

Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and techniques.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
