Washington County Mental Health Services Children's Psychotherapist in Berlin, Vermont
Position: Children’s Psychotherapist
Department: Center for Counseling and Psychological Services
Reports to: CCPS Co-Directors
Overview:
This position provides clinical services to children and families in a community mental health center outpatient program. Full-time 40 hour benefited position.
Summary of Duties:
Provide clinical services to children and families in a community mental health center outpatient program.
Assessment, diagnosis, light case management and individual and group therapy services.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
MA in social work, psychology, mental health or associated field.
License eligible – MSW, LICSW, or LMHC preferred
At least one year experience providing psychotherapy required.
Physical Requirements: The role may involve the following physical requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing during therapy sessions and administrative tasks.
Effective verbal communication, including the ability to clearly convey information both in-person and over the phone.
Basic manual dexterity to handle documentation and computer-related tasks.
Mobility to move within the office environment and between different work locations.
