COOS, COUNTY OF Resident Accounts/Biller in Berlin, New Hampshire

Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin, NH has an opening for a Resident Accounts/Biller position. This is a 40 hour per week position and offers a competitive hourly rate, excellent benefits, including: New Hampshire Retirement, Vacation and sick time

Job duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Maintain resident accounts and maintain daily census records. Works closely with DHHS, Social Security, Office of Attorney General Fraud Unit, and physician/hospital billing offices. Meet with residents and family members about finances, social security requirements, and Medicaid/asset rules and requirements. Assist with NH Medicaid application.
Associates Degree in Business is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Must have 5 years of Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial insurance billing experience.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with computers, especially with excel, great organization and multitasking abilities.
STARTNG rate of pay is $22.28 per hour. Rate is based on the experience of the candidate.
