Der Payroll Specialist ist eine verantwortungsvolle Aufgabe im Personalbereich und fungiert als kompetenter Ansprechpartner zu allen Fragen bzgl. der Entgeltabrechnung, Versicherungen und zum Sozialversicherungsrecht.

Aufgaben:

• Eigenständige und vollständige Abwicklung der Entgeltabrechnungen unter Beachtung der gesetzlichen und tarifvertraglichen Regelungen in Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Payroll Providern für Deutschland sowie weitere europäische Gesellschaften

• Regelmäßige Prüfung der Neuerungen im Personalinformationssystem (Workday) und Umsetzung im jeweiligen Payroll System

• Pflege sämtlicher Personalstammdaten sowie Erfassung monatlicher Bewegungsdaten

• Auskunft zu lohnsteuer- und sozialversicherungsrechtlichen Fragen inkl. Auslandsentsendungen

• Abwicklung von Schriftverkehr sowie die Bearbeitung von Anfragen im Zusammenhang mit der Abrechnung

Zu den wesentlichen Anforderungen der Stelle gehören:

• Abgeschlossene fachspezifische Berufsausbildung im kaufmännischen Bereich

• Fachspezifische Berufserfahrung von mindestens 1 Jahr

• Kenntnisse im Bereich Sozialversicherung und Tarifrecht

• Englischkenntnisse erforderlich in Wort und Schrift

• Eine Affinität für Systeme und Daten ist hilfreich für diese Position

The Payroll Specialist is a responsible position in the HR department and acts as a subject matter expert for all questions relating to payroll accounting, insurance and social security law online for the employees in Germany as well as international employees. This is a hybrid position, which is located in Berlin with a mixture of home working. The payroll team is responsible for overseeing payroll for Germany, the Netherlands, UK and other European countries, where we partner with Payroll Providers.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Independent and complete processing of payroll accounting in compliance with statutory and collectively agreed regulations in cooperation with our payroll providers for Germany and other European companies

• Regularly checking changes in the HR information system (Workday) and implementing them in the respective payroll system

• Maintaining all personnel master data and recording monthly transaction data

• Providing information on wage tax and social security issues, including foreign postings

• Handling correspondence and processing queries in connection with payroll accounting

The essential requirements of the job include

• Completed specialist vocational training in the commercial sector

• Specialized professional experience of at least 1 year in a German payroll environment and good understanding of German labor law

• Knowledge of social insurance and collective agreement for Germany (IG Metall)

• Knowledge of social security and collective bargaining law

• Fluent written and spoken English and German required

• An affinity for systems and data is helpful for this position, as well as experience with Workday
