Job Title: CMM Programming LeadJob Description
We are seeking a skilled CMM Programming Lead to develop, edit, and execute Coordinate Measuring Programs. The ideal candidate will review and interpret drawing specifications and verify specific dimensions of components. You will also be responsible for maintaining layout timing, providing maintenance on lab equipment, and collaborating with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to improve process capabilities, validate equipment, and validate new or revised products.
Responsibilities
Develop, edit, and execute Coordinate Measuring Programs.
Review and interpret drawing specifications.
Verify specific dimensions of components.
Maintain layout timing and provide maintenance on lab equipment.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to improve process capabilities.
Validate equipment and new or revised products.
Essential Skills
CMM programming
Proficiency with CAD software
Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Experience in metrology
Familiarity with SAP
Calibration and tolerances
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Engineering preferred
1-3 years of experience with CMM programming and performing layouts
Ability to interpret CAD and GD&T
Work Environment
Our team operates in a collaborative environment with engineering teams that have great tenure. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays. We have a family-like culture despite being a large company.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.12/hr.
