Maintenance Supervisor Weekly Pay
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift (1pm-9pm; Monday - Friday), with the possibility of transitioning to the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance, work orders, and emergency repairs, ensuring they are completed correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Follow up on preventative maintenance, work orders, and emergency repairs to ensure they are being done correctly.
Inspect running equipment and plan for repairs during scheduled downtime.
Work with mechanics individually to help them improve their skills.
Assist mechanics in their training programs to facilitate their growth and promotions.
Work closely with production supervisors to ensure their needs are met.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on automated equipment.
Respond quickly to maintenance calls and be fully prepared to make necessary repairs.
Be visible and readily available on the plant floor as much as possible.
Maintain a safe working environment both in the maintenance shop and on the plant floor.
Ensure food safety with attention to detail when working on equipment or near the product.
Provide and maintain your own hand tools, including wrench sets, pliers, socket sets, hammers, and punches.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule mechanics and handle payroll submissions.
Participate in operations shift meetings as well as safety and food safety meetings and inspections.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance
Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Preventive maintenance
Maintenance management and supervision
Experience in automation controls in an industrial operation (minimum of 2 years)
Ability to read and update electrical schematics
Strong leadership qualities
Proficiency with office software, especially spreadsheets
Understanding of mechanical systems
Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs
Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time, and in hot environments
Food manufacturing experience is a plus but not required

Work Environment
This position is for the 2nd shift (1pm-9pm; Monday - Friday) with the possibility of transitioning to the 3rd shift. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work on your feet for extended periods, sometimes in hot environments. Safety and food safety are paramount, and attention to detail is critical.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr.
