We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for implementing scalable solutions including continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management and ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of changes to the Production environment.
You will be expected to possess a strong and in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, security, and the Salesforce Metadata API to ensure that changes can be reliably deployed while maintaining the integrity of both the new change and the existing org.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the development, QA, and operations teams to ensure changes are packaged, merged, and deployed continuously to Sandboxes and eventually to Production
Collaborate with development teams to optimize Salesforce configurations and customizations for deployment
Support the team in resolving and deploying the fixes for both issues with new developments and by guiding them with platform related issues, and sharing the details of failures with respective developers for resolution
Manage the version control system, Dev, QA, and Release branches for Salesforce code and configurations
Ensure compliance with security and compliance best practices for deployments
Requirements
Must have at least 5+ years of experience working as Salesforce DevOps Engineer.
Extensive experience in Salesforce development and administration, with a string understanding of Salesforce architecture and capabilities
Experience working in an Agile methodology environment
Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Metadata API, ANT Migration Tool, and other deployment automation tools (AutoRABIT, Copado, Flossum, etc.)
Able to effectively adapt to a dynamic work environment and a complex Salesforce environment without compromising the quality of deployments
Experience with version control systems such as GIT, or Bitbucket
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Salesforce environments
Able to guide developers with deployment related activities and support them in identifying any platform related issues during deployment and validations.
Experience with Salesforce Org management (such as Sandbox Refresh related activities)
A good team player, with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Coordinate with Salesforce support to enable features and resolve sandbox/production deployment related issues
